Me And My Dreams
"Dreams are key for us to conquer the world", that's a fragment of the song lyrics of the Nidji Band. Beautiful dreams will only be beautiful dreams without us making them happen. The experience of many successful people, they only start with dreams and dare to make them happen. I'm sure all my friends must have dreams for the future, there are certain targets that must be achieved later, and so do I. I and my dream is a note that motivates me to dare to realize my dreams and goals. In the following, I will tell you about me and my picture of my dreams for my future.
Hi all! Introduce, I'm Kristy Hasugian. I was born 20 years ago in a city with the nickname of the Metropolitan City, namely the City of Jakarta. I like listening to music and singing. I am the type of person who is humorous, cool with people I just met, and wants to socialize. I am the third child of three brothers. I grew up in a Batak ethnic family. In Batak families, this saying is very much practiced "Anakkon Hi Do Hamoraon Di Au" which means children are the most beautiful treasure that parents have from God. Since childhood, my family has adhered to the principle that education is important and that education is the key to achieving goals and success in life. Therefore, my parents struggled to find sustenance to send me from elementary to university so that all my dreams would come true. Guidance and motivation from parents is the primary key to protection in achieving dreams. It has already been mentioned that I was born and raised in a family where education is highly valued. Since childhood, I taught to always try to learn and be the best in everything. These values greatly influence me and shape my view of the importance of education in life.
During my school days, I always tried to get grades and pursue achievements. However, that didn't happen when I was in elementary school because my poor health condition made me not active at school. During middle school and high school, I was active in various extracurricular activities, such as Student Council, Christian Choir, and choir. Through this activity, I learned to speak in public, be confident, and develop my talents which are useful in my current life.
After graduating from SMA N 95 Jakarta, I chose to continue my studies at a tertiary institution in a major that matched my interests and hoped to gain deeper knowledge and skills in that field. At that time I took part in the selection to enter a state university. However, I was declared not to pass the selection. It makes me sad and hopeless because the efforts I have put in so far have been in vain. Not long after learning about the results of the selection, I looked for private universities in Jakarta that were still open for registration and I found the Indonesian Christian University. I enrolled in the teaching and education faculty in the biology education study program. Previously, it had never occurred to me to continue studying at a private university While studying at the Indonesian Christian University, I tried to be an active student and participate in various campus activities, such as participating in the MBKM (teaching campus) program and participating in competitions held by the university. I feel that these activities help me to develop leadership skills and social skills, which are important skills in the world of work and everyday life. Currently, I am continuing my education in a biology education study program which will result from this major in the future becoming a teacher. Becoming a teacher was also never in my dreams, but this was a dream from my parents. In the first semester, I underestimated the teaching profession, but since I joined the MBKM (teaching campus) program in semester 5, my view of the teaching profession has changed, that being a teacher is not easy, being a teacher can develop communication, social, leadership skills, and sensitivity to situations. around. In my opinion, the teacher is a noble profession because the purpose of the teacher being present in our midst is to educate, guide, and educate the nation's children.
After graduating from college, I wanted to become a teacher because I was interested in education. after I graduate later, I want to study English in Kediri to develop my foreign language skills. After that, I started my career and kept trying to learn and develop in my chosen field. I believe that education does not stop outside the classroom, and I am constantly expanding my knowledge and skills. In conclusion, my goal is to become a teacher who educates, guides, and educates the nation's children. I will continue to strive and learn to achieve this goal and hope to make a positive impact on the lives of others. I believe that with hard work and determination, all goals can be achieved.
